My Dad was a wonderful Man he worked hard he was always there for me, He was my best friend.
Dad when you left my world fell apart i didnt understand what loss ment till that day, i didnt
understand what it was like to be alone, i miss you so much every day hurts. I remember coming to
see you in Hospital on the Monday Night, it was 8pm and the nurses said i could see you, you had
just had your bedtime drink, when i walked in to your room this big smile was on your face, the
nurses said that they could tell when i had been to see you because you was always happy and you had
the biggest smile, well you couldnt talk very well but we as always chatted, you asked me what the
wather was like and how the traffic was and told me to drive safe on the way home, you held my hand
so tight and looked at me and said that you was tired, i gave you a big hug and kissed your head, as
i walked out the door i looked back and you waved good bye, I didnt know that was going to be the
last wave good bye. The next morning i got a phone call at 4.30am to say i better got to the
hospital, Mum was there, i always told you that i wouldnt let you go alone and you didnt. You went
to sleep at 10.22am you was at rest, but i was alone, my world just fell apart, the 19th December
2000 is a day that i will never forget ever. I couldnt beleave that my dad had gone, it was the
longest and hardest drive i have ever had in my life. We couldnt lay you to rest till the 4th
January 01 and all that time you was alone and there was nothing i could do, I came to see you for
the last time on the day we laid you to rest, it was something i had to do. I wish that you could
have met Lynne she is my world and she has given me so much,She looks after me and has to do so much
for me now iam very lucky, Mum is here with us we look after her. dad i Love you so much and i miss
you everyday,I know you and Billy would have had loads of fun and you both will now please take care
and remember that i love you so much.

I found a penny today
Just lying on the ground,

This little coin I've found.
Found pennies come from heaven
That's what my grandpa told me
He said angels toss them down
Oh, how I loved that story.
He said when an angel misses you
They toss a penny down
Sometimes just to cheer you up
To make a smile out of your frown.
So don't pass by that penny
When you're feeling blue,
That's a penny from heaven
That an angel's tossed to you.

I've listened to the footprints poem
a million times or more
of how when only one set shows
upon the sandy shore
it's the lord carrying us
and taking on our load
and his are the only set
of footprints that showed
But what if when we look
there are no footprints to be found?
all we see is plain and simple
sand upon the ground
no imprints showing that our lord
is carrying us through life
helping us when we feel
we can not handle all this strife
Where is my lord now that i've fallen
and can't seem to get back up?
so tired and lonely
trying to deal with what seems
an overflowing cup
where are those footprints
in the sand
to tell me he's right there?
helping me with problems
and showing that he really does care
Does he have favourites, OH NO
please tell me that's not so
but why does life seem easier
for some people that I know?
and sometimes I just scream out loud
although it seems in vain
but often gets harder each day
to deal with all this pain
And then it dawned on me
as I realize how simple could it be
I wonder why I was so blind
that I truly did not see
it must have been a lightening bolt
that one day gave me light
because out of the clear blue sky
I finally regained my sight
I saw a fluffy white cloud
shaped like an angel dear
that helped me to understand
and see things oh so clear
that's when I saw no footprints
and so often wondered why
my lord carried me on angel wings
when he decided to fly.
